Below is Sample Work Schedule Routine
CLUB PORTER DAY
Porters are assigned to either Club duties or Fitness duties, but all porters
shall be crosstrained and are responsible to assist in both areas.
6:30AM Walk entire club to ensure everything is ready for members
7:00AM Clean retrieve dirty towels from Fitness and restock as needed
8:00AM Clean and Restock Golf
9:00AM Clean and Restock Tennis, Check Aerobics
9:30AM Review and refresh common areas clubhouse including outside
10:00AM Clean retrieve dirty towels from Fitness and restock as needed
10:30AM Clean golf restrooms check parking lots outside areas of club
11:00AM Clean and Restock Tennis, Check Aerobics
11:30AM Review and refresh common areas clubhouse including outside
12:00PM Porters never take lunch together
12:00PM Clean and refresh Clubhouse restrooms and common areas
12:30PM Clean retrieve dirty towels from Fitness and restock as needed
1:00PM Clean and Restock Golf
1:30PM Clean and Restock Tennis, Check Aerobics
2:00PM Review and refresh common areas clubhouse including outside
2:30PM Clean retrieve dirty towels from Fitness and restock as needed
3:00PM Just before end of shift ensure all areas have been checked communicate any urgent needs to Next shift,
3:00PM Address any issues left from prior shift.
3:30PM Clean retrieve dirty towels from Fitness and restock as needed
3:30PM Clean golf restrooms check parking lots outside areas of club
4:00PM Clean and Restock Golf
4:30PM Clean and Restock Tennis, Check Aerobics
5:00PM Review and refresh common areas clubhouse including outside
5:30PM Clean retrieve dirty towels from Fitness and restock as needed
6:00PM Clean and Restock Tennis
6:30PM Review and refresh common areas clubhouse including outside
6:30PM Porters never take dinner together
6:30PM Clean retrieve dirty towels from Fitness and restock as needed
7:00PM Clean and Restock Tennis, Check Aerobics
7:30PM Review and refresh common areas clubhouse including outside
7:30PM Final clean and Restock Tennis
8:00PM Final clean retrieve dirty towels from Fitness and restock for AM
8:30PM As soon as Fitness is complete both porters responsible for rest
of shift to concentrate activities at clubhouse
10:30PM Do final check of all areas of club to ensure all toiletries and towels are fully stocked for next day.
11:00PM End of shift ensure all areas have been checked communicate any urgent needs to Next shift in log book. If party is active in clubhouse check with night supervisor to communicate you have completed all tasks.
